We invite you to submit an abstract to the

22nd International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA)

June 14-18, 2019

Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.

Please visit the conference website at http://isapa2019.org for abstract submission and information about registration, the venue, housing and transportation.

The deadline to submit an abstract is 11:59 PM US Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5) on December 31st, 2018, and notification of acceptance will be sent by January 31st, 2019.

Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is the overarching theme for ISAPA 2019 bringing renewed focus to the continual challenges and struggles individuals with disabilities continue to face around the world for fundamental liberties and rights. In particular, many individuals with disabilities are still excluded from the joy experienced when participating in physical education, recreation and sports activities in their communities with peers without disabilities.

We welcome adapted physical activity researchers, scholars and practioners to share their work around the theme of Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Presentation options include oral presentations (10 minutes with 2 minutes for questions) and poster sessions. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected for presentation based on importance and timeliness of topic, applicability to conference theme, clarity of writing, and (for research papers only) scientific rigor and meaningful findings.

Please note that presenters must register for the conference.
