The organizing committee of the Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE) Congress 2024 is seeking 4 adapted physical activity students to serve as volunteers during ASAPE 2024, Sapporo, Japan. Volunteers must be willing to attend the online staff meeting on July 26, 2024, and arrive in Sapporo on August 1st or at the venue latest on August 2nd, at 8:40 am, to start the first shift.
Volunteers will need to stay through August 4th until the ASAPE 2024 Scientific program ends. However, you have a discounted room until August 5th. Volunteer responsibilities include managing presentation rooms, assisting with the registration desk, technical support, helping participants find presentation rooms, guiding participants from hotels to the congress venue, organizing, and leading student activities.
What is provided to IVP Student Volunteers?
Discounted accommodation (10.000 YEN / 65 US Dollars) for 4 nights. It must be paid in cash on August 2nd, at the registration desk. Check-in August 1st, check-out August 5th, 2024.
1000 YEN Starbucks tickets per day and wi-fi are included.
The accommodation type is a Japanese-style tatami room with 4 beds, a shared bathroom, and a common lounge.

Selected volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the conference venue in Sapporo.
Volunteers must be willing to attend the online staff meeting on July 26, 2024;
AND arrive at the venue on August 2nd, at 8:40 am, for the first shift.
Volunteers will need to stay through August 4th when ASAPE 2024 ends, and volunteer 4 hours per-day (morning to noon).
