Special Olympics International is seeking a Fitness Evaluation Consultant to contribute to the evaluation of fitness programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID). This consultancy will support U.S.-based fitness evaluations, develop and refine assessment tools, and contribute to data analysis and research dissemination.
The position will run from October 6, 2025, to July 31, 2026, with a total compensation of up to $50,000, structured around three deliverables. Activities include coordination with national programs, evaluation planning and implementation, preparation of internal reports, and contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
Key Qualifications:

Master’s or doctoral degree (or current graduate student) in adapted physical activity, kinesiology, public health, epidemiology, or a related field

Strong written communication and organizational skills

Experience in research, data analysis, and collaborative projects

Familiarity with disability-inclusive health is desirable
