An open call has been launched to recruit an independent professional to lead the development of the Paralympic Pathway (Relevo Paralímpico) in Andalusia. The program is promoted by the Spanish Paralympic Committee in Andalusia, in coordination with the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Sport and in collaboration with regional multi-sport and single-sport federations.
The Paralympic Pathway program aims to identify and engage young people with disabilities and support their introduction to sport, with the long-term objective of developing future elite Paralympic athletes. In parallel, the program seeks to strengthen an inclusive sports structure across Andalusia by supporting clubs and sports organizations that can ensure continuous athlete development over time.
The initiative follows a comprehensive approach that includes coach education in areas such as disability-specific training, inclusion, and sport classification; identification and allocation of sports equipment; organization of sport promotion and talent identification events; development of inclusive sports clubs; and the establishment of strategic partnerships with relevant institutions.
The selected professional will be responsible for identifying individuals with disabilities interested in starting sports practice in collaboration with hospitals, foundations, schools, and rehabilitation centers; identifying inclusive sports clubs; sourcing sports equipment; coordinating closely with regional federations; establishing partnerships of interest for the program and its athletes; coordinating with the Andalusian Directorate General for Sport and the Spanish Paralympic Committee; and carrying out related administrative tasks.
Desirable qualifications include prior experience in coordinating sport-related projects, knowledge of disability sport, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, possession of a disability certificate, and experience as a former or current Olympic or Paralympic high-performance athlete.
The position offers a monthly gross remuneration of €1,613.66, invoiced as a self-employed professional. The workplace is flexible, provided the candidate resides in Andalusia. A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
