A temporary position is available for a Research Assistant within the Division of Sport and Exercise Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, at the Tygerberg campus of Stellenbosch University. This opportunity offers a six-month appointment and is aligned with ongoing research efforts in adapted sports medicine and para sport initiatives.
The selected candidate will join a leading international research group dedicated to advancing the understanding of health in athletes with disabilities. The position involves active participation in research activities supporting projects that examine medical and functional aspects of adapted sport participation.
Eligibility Criteria:

Master’s degree (MSc) obtained within the past five years.

Solid academic background in sports medicine, sport science, biokinetics, physiotherapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or closely related disciplines.

Demonstrated experience in data management is essential.
