IFAPA President-Elect Professor Cindy Sit is the principal investigator of the The Jockey Club “Sports without Limits” Youth Empowerment Programme. It is organised by the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The programme has recently collaborated with the Global Schools (GS). GS is an initiative of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in support of UNESCO’s Global Action Program on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

The Programme offers a series of online training courses in phases and invites all teachers, practitioners, and students who are interested in adapted physical activity to take the courses free of charge. Participants will receive a training certificate after completing the course requirements of each course. All courses are endorsed by IFAPA as well as the UNESCO Chair on Transforming the Lives of People with Disabilities through Physical Education, Sport, Fitness and Recreation.
