Our Doctor of Physical Therapy Program located in Manchester, NH, invites applications for the Academic Program Director. This is a full-time, 12-month position, starting at the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year.

The Academic Program Director is the program administrator for the entry-level physical therapy program and responsible for providing effective leadership including faculty evaluation, professional development, financial management and ongoing program assessment. In addition, as a member of the faculty, the Academic Director would be expected to teach in an area of expertise, engage in scholarship and service to the community.

We are seeking candidates that demonstrate strong leadership and experience. Other skills and qualifications our successful candidate will have include:

Terminal doctoral degree (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D.).
Must be licensed as a physical therapist in New Hampshire (or eligible and license obtained within 60-days of employment).
Senior faculty status with five or more years of experience in higher education.
Demonstrable teaching effectiveness at the college level.
Demonstrable record of scholarship and service to the community.
A strong understanding of higher education and contemporary clinical practice appropriate for leadership in physical therapy education.
A strong commitment to undergraduate education, research, learning and advising, and
Is expected to engage in institutional service as well as maintain a program of scholarly/creative work.
