The International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) invites members to submit nominations for key leadership positions to be elected during the International Symposium on Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA), scheduled for June 2025 in Ireland.
Positions Open for Election:
President-Elect: A 2-year term as President-Elect, followed by a 4-year term as President, and a 2-year term as Past President.
Vice President(s): 4-year term.
All members in good standing are eligible to be nominated or to nominate others. Nominations must include the following:
A statement of support.
A short biography.
A summary of scientific work.
Documentation confirming the nominee’s willingness to serve, if elected.
Nominations should be submitted via email to David Legg at dlegg@mtroyal.ca no later than March 1, 2025.
Voting Details:
Voting will be conducted in person, online, and by mail. Instructions for each voting method will be shared as the election date approaches. Final vote counting and the announcement of elected candidates will occur during the General Assembly at ISAPA 2025. Election outcomes will be determined by a simple majority vote.
