On November 4 and 5, 2025, the Faculty of Physical Education at UNICAMP (University of Campinas, Brazil) will host the “Seminário Educação Física Inclusiva e Pesquisa,” a two-day event focused on inclusive practices and research in physical education.

The program begins on November 4 at 9:00 AM with Dr. Justin Haegele (Old Dominion University, USA) and Dr. Anthony Maher (Leeds Beckett University, UK) presenting on inclusion in physical education and research. At 10:30 AM, Dr. Martin Giese (Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany) will explore the topic of physical education and ableism. In the afternoon, Dr. Sebastian Ruin (University of Graz, Austria) will offer a Central European perspective on inclusion and diversity. The day concludes with a presentation by Dr. Fabián Arroyo-Rojas (Hofstra University, USA) on colonialism, disability, and physical education.

On November 5, the program continues at 10:00 AM with Dr. Janine Coates (Loughborough University, UK) discussing qualitative research in physical education. At 2:00 PM, Dr. Justin Haegele will return for a session on publishing in Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly (APAQ).

The seminar will provide a platform for international dialogue on inclusive education, disability studies, and adapted physical activity.
