The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the world governing body for cycling, is offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its Para-cycling Sector as an intern within the Sports Department. This full-time internship provides a chance to gain professional experience in the sports industry while contributing to the administration and development of Para-cycling activities.
The selected candidate will support the UCI in various responsibilities, including managing administrative tasks, assisting with athlete classification processes, coordinating grant applications, and aiding in the planning and execution of events and education programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or student nearing the completion of higher education.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in sports and cycling is a plus.
The internship is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre, with a start date in January 2025 or as agreed. The position has a minimum duration of eight months.
