A Successfully 2022 North American Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (NAFAPA) Symposium was done from October 11th to 13th 2022, at Brock University. This event was co-hosted by the Brock-Niagara Centre of Excellence in Inclusive & Adaptive Physical Activity and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.

This symposium included 3 Keynotes covering different topics in adapted physical activity:

Day 1 Keynote: Tim Fletcher (Brock University)

Day 2 Keynote: Oyvind Standal (Oslo Metropolitan University)

Day 3 Keynote: Meghann Lloyd (Ontario Tech University)

Verbal and poster presentations were also presented by participants from different universities and organizations in North America, facilitating networks and sharing experiences in adapted physical activity.

During the symposium, new board members were welcomed, including Meghan Lloyd as the new President-Elect, Nancy Spencer as the new secretary, Laurie Malone as the new Treasurer, and Andy Pitchford as the new representative to other organizations. JK Yun completed his turn as president and will roll into the past-president role, and Justin Haegele will be NAFAPA president from 2022-2024.
