The University of Worcester will host the international conference “Disability Sport: Reimagining Physical Culture, Health and Wellbeing” on July 13–14, 2026, at the University of Worcester. The two-day event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and advocates to discuss current developments in disability sport, inclusive physical education, and health promotion.
The conference will include keynote presentations, research sessions, and networking opportunities aimed at promoting collaboration and sharing evidence-based approaches that advance inclusion in sport and physical activity. Sessions will focus on disability sport, health, inclusion, accessibility, and the social impact of sport participation.
Abstracts are invited for oral presentations related to the conference theme. Submissions must be sent by January 9, 2026, to uwdsconf@worc.ac.uk. Accepted authors will be notified by February 13, 2026.
Registration opens in early 2026, with early bird rates available until March 1, 2026. Student and online participation options are also provided to encourage accessibility.
