xlogo-highres.png.pagespeed.ic.Fcdq_Tc8yIIn 2010, the former Finnish Association of Sports for the Disabled, FASD (SIU) ended and was replaced by merging organisations that could plan, execute and develop sports and physical activity for physically and intellectually disabled people, visually impaired people and transplant recipients. This new organisation is known as VAU, the Finnish Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities.

 

x743035e578b3977022726e383b3e1579Now, in 2016, VAU are pleased to host the EU co-funded European Transplant Sport Week (ETSW) that takes place in Vantaa, Finland between the 10th – 17th July 2016. There are a number of activities that takes place during the week, which run parallel to the European Heart and Lung Transplant Championships and European Transplant and Dialysis Sport Championships

  • Sports for all events
  • Researchers Workshops and Symposium

The researchers workshop takes place on the Monday 11th July -Thursday 14th July. Just as the workshops end on the Thursday, the two day symposium begins. Deadlines for presentations has been extended until March 31st 2016.
