Following the IFAPA Board meeting at the European Congress of Adapted Physical Activity (EUCAPA), Coimbra, 2022, the search for a communications officer ended. The IFAPA board are please to announce Matías Henríquez from Miguel Hernandez University, Elche, Spain as the IFAPA communications officer. The term is through to the next general assembly, scheduled for ISAPA 2023 and can be renewed there after.
Matías Henríquez is a PhD student in Spain and is from Chile. His background is a physiotherapist, he has a master in sport science and he has worked in adapted physical activity in Chile since 2015 in rehabilitation and sport performance context. Also Matías works as the classification manager in the international Federation of cerebral palsy football.
