The International Symposium of the Jockey Club “Sports without Limits” is organized by the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education and the Faculty of Education of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, co-organized by the Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE); and supported by The Hong Kong Physical Education Teachers Society.

This event is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and is part of one of the events in the Jockey Club “Sports without Limits” Youth Empowerment Programme.

During the international symposium, different keynotes will give an insight into different relevant topics of adapted physical activity, highlighting the presence of Ms. Catherine Carty (UNESCO Chair Project Manager), Martin Block (Professor, Department of Kinesiology, University of Virginia, USA), Prof. Dale Ulrich (Professor Emeritus, School of Kinesiology, University of Michigan, USA), Prof. Tsai Chia Liang Andy (Distinguished Professor, Institute of Physical Education, Health and Leisure Studies, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan), David Legg (Professor, Department of Health and Physical Education, Mount Royal University, Canada and currently IFAPA president), and Dr. Kwok NG (Vice-President IFAPA).

The goal of the event is to synergize the project and related research impact on adapted physical activity. This Symposium will be performed in an online mode due to the latest pandemic conditions between August 4-6, 2022.
