Researchers from the University of Queensland are conducting a study titled “Development of a Support Needs Assessment Tool for People with Disability Wanting to Participate in Sport and Exercise: Usability and Acceptability Testing.” This tool, known as the SNAT-SE, is designed for health and community-based fitness professionals who support the sport and exercise participation of people with disabilities. The study aims to evaluate the usability and acceptability of this tool among its intended users.
The research team seeks volunteers to participate in the study by completing an online survey. The inclusion criteria for participants are as follows:
- Health and/or fitness professionals with experience supporting people with disabilities in sport and/or exercise.
- Individuals with disabilities or their support persons.
- Researchers and/or academics with experience in tool development and/or the fields of physical activity, sport, and exercise participation.
The online survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
