In May of 2020, with 110 years of combined adaptive sports experience, Disabled Sports USA and Adaptive Sports USA merged to become Move United. Move United is national organization in the United States unifying the adaptive sports community and inciting action that will lead to a world where everyone is included.
In the Spring of 2021, Move United will host a hybrid conference to provide the tools and training to help demystify disability and make inclusion reality. Contribute to the conversation by submitting an application by January 15th, 2021 to present at the 2021 Move United Education Conference.
In addition, Move United has partnered with the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to design a study into the impact that sport participation has on the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities. Help us amplify the voice of adaptive athletes by completing this survey today or sharing with adaptive athletes.
