The 2nd Annual Virtual Adapted Physical Education (APE) Conference hosted by Fairfax County Public School adapted physical education teachers is planned in virtual modality to be held on April 14th, 2023. This is an online free conference offered to the APE community which includes topics such as:
- Adapted Physical Education Under the Law
- FCPS’ Model for Success
- Cross-Curricular Activities in APE
- Secondary Transition Programming
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Gold
- Creating a Task Analysis
- “Theamer” Creative Themes in APE
- Assistive Technology in APE
- IEP Data Collection
The conference will utilize the Zoom platform and links will be shared a few days prior to all those who register. Sessions will be recorded and shared with those who register for the conference. Certificates of attendance can be provided to those who complete forms.
