World Abilitysport has opened applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), offering an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the organisation and support the continued development of Para sport worldwide.
The CEO will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of World Abilitysport, including implementation of its Strategic Plan, governance, financial sustainability and delivery of international events. The role will also provide executive leadership for World Para Fencing, World Para Dance Sport and Powerchair Hockey, while maintaining athlete welfare and athlete-centred decision-making as key priorities.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in sports management and Para/disability sport, experience in senior leadership and working at Board level, and strong communication and leadership skills. The position is full-time and permanent, with remote working and regular travel to the organisation’s headquarters in Buckinghamshire, UK, as well as international travel.
