A series of major international and regional events in Adapted Physical Activity (APA) will take place across the globe in 2026 and 2027, offering important opportunities for research dissemination, professional development, and international collaboration.

In Asia, the ASAPE 2026 International Symposium will be held from 15 to 17 July 2026 at the Shanghai University of Sport, China, bringing together researchers, educators, practitioners, and students in adapted physical education and physical activity. In Europe, EUCAPA 2026 will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, from 9 to 12 June 2026 under the theme “APA Evolution: Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future.” The event will feature a broad scientific and professional program.

South America will host several key meetings. The III SOCHIAFA Congress on Adapted Physical Activity will be held on 20–21 March 2026 in Viña del Mar, Chile, with a focus on inclusive and Paralympic sport, rehabilitation, adapted physical education, and disability rights. In Brazil, the XIV Brazilian Congress of Adapted Motor Activity (CBAMA), together with the Seminar on Adapted Motor Activities, will take place from 27 to 30 April 2026 in Manaus.

In North America, the NAFAPA 2026 Biennial Conference will be hosted from 28 to 31 July 2026 at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, USA. In addition, the conference “Disability Sport: Reimagining Physical Culture, Health and Wellbeing” will be held on 13–14 July 2026 at the University of Worcester Arena, England. Looking ahead, ISAPA 2027, marking the 50th Anniversary Symposium, will be held in Jordan from 21 to 25 June 2027.
