The 19th International Symposium of the Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE 2026) will be held from July 15 to 17, 2026, in Shanghai, China. The symposium will take place in a face-to-face format and will be hosted at the Shanghai University of Sport.
ASAPE 2026 will convene researchers, educators, practitioners, and students working in adapted physical education, adapted physical activity, and exercise science. The symposium aims to provide a structured forum for the presentation of current research, discussion of emerging topics, and exchange of professional experience within the region and beyond.
The organizing committee has confirmed the key dates for the event. The deadline for abstract submission is March 10, 2026, and notification of acceptance will be issued by April 15, 2026. Registration will open shortly. Early-bird registration will be available until May 15, 2026, and standard registration will remain open until July 17, 2026.
