Recently, the Chilean Society of Adapted Physical Activity (SOCHIAFA) released the book “Experiences of Good Practices from SOCHIAFA” which collected 13 chapters dedicated to describing different practices and experiences in the field.
SOCHIAFA’s mission is “to be the national reference organization with a scientific-academic approach that supports professionals dedicated to the area of adapted physical activity (APA) in Chile, having as objectives to align and orient professionals working in the APA, promoting development in the areas of rehabilitation, recreation, education, sports science, health and welfare in the population with disabilities”.
In this context, the authors of these chapters who also are members of this society, share their experiences in thematics such as para-sport, rehabilitation, inclusive physical education, and inclusive outdoor activities.
