The Organizing Committee of the International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA) is pleased to announce that Professor Cindy Sit will be one of the featured presenters at the upcoming event.

Professor Sit is a distinguished academic in the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She currently serves as the President of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA), and also holds advisory and leadership roles within the Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE) and the Society for Adapted Physical Activity of Hong Kong China (HKSAPA).

Her research centers on physical activity and sedentary behavior in children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with a strong focus on the development and evaluation of adapted physical activity interventions aimed at promoting health. With more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, Professor Sit is widely recognized for her contributions to the field and serves on multiple editorial boards of leading scientific journals.

Her work highlights the role of adapted physical activity in supporting physical and mental well-being, as well as promoting inclusive opportunities for children and adolescents with SEND. ISAPA attendees will benefit from her extensive expertise and commitment to advancing inclusive practices in education and sport.
