The International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) is pleased to announce that Professor Omar Hindawi, IFAPA’s Middle East Regional Representative, has been appointed as the President of the Jordan Paralympic Committee.

In his new role, Professor Hindawi will have a unique opportunity to advance adapted sports in Jordan, working closely with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations to foster inclusivity and growth within the field. His appointment aligns with the core values of the Paralympic movement, promoting equal opportunities for athletes with disabilities and enhancing the quality of adapted sports in the region.

Professor Hindawi’s extensive experience in adapted physical activity and his commitment to advancing in para-sports will be key assets as he leads the Jordan Paralympic Committee. IFAPA congratulates Professor Hindawi on this significant appointment and looks forward to his contributions to the adapted sports community in Jordan.
