The International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) is pleased to share its 2024 newsletter, detailing significant achievements, global collaborations, and future initiatives aimed at advancing the field of adapted physical activity (APA).
One of the major highlights of 2024 was the success of various international conferences and symposia. These events provided invaluable opportunities for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and strengthened global partnerships in APA. Looking ahead, IFAPA is excited to host the 25th International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA 2025) in Tralee, Ireland, under the patronage of UNESCO. This event will serve as a platform for international dialogue and cooperation, furthering APA’s role in fostering inclusive sports and physical activity.
Reflecting on the past year, IFAPA President Dr. Cindy Sit expressed gratitude for the dedication of board members, partners, and the APA community.
