This project is designed in order to better understand the needs of both athletes and coaches within the unique context of Special Olympics. This is in an effort to increase the provision if high quality coaching experiences for athlete’s and to increase the workforce of coaches and their knowledge.
The workforce survey seeks to enhance, sport coaches’ learning, mobility and employment across the world. The results gained from the project will be available on the ParaCoach website and used to develop a Para Coach Framework and free online course. Hence the knowledge, education and experiences of Special Olympics coaches is vital to understanding this specific sporting context.
