Update on Inclusive Education International Conference At the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria
This report is to give update on the inclusive education international conference coming up at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. Conference preparation is in top gear as all machinery has been put in place for a successful hosting of the conference. Over seventy (70) abstracts have been received and participants are drawn from all parts of the globe. Also most universities in Nigeria will be sponsoring participants to this conference.
Prof Martin E. Block will present a keynote while Prof Claire Boursier and Prof Ibrahimo Adamu Kolo will present lead papers. Inclusive education international conference at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka is adjudicated the first ever international conference on inclusive education in Africa by the keynote speaker Prof Martin E. Block.
The organizing committee has worked unstintingly for a successful hosting. The Dean and staff of Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka have sent out invitation letters and also received great support from the vice chancellor Prof Joseph Ahaneku ( FAS ) and the management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. There would be side attractions including visiting places of interest.
It is presumed the conference will create awareness among participants on global perspectives on inclusive education. The conference will kick off with an opening ceremony on 12th June 2018 while group presentations will take place between 13th and 14th June 2018.
