Slippery Rock University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in the Physical and Health Education Department’s Adapted Physical Activity Program beginning August 2018.

 

Responsibilities:

Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Adapted Physical Activity Program, advise graduate and undergraduate students. Participate on Physical and Health Education Department, College of Education, and university-wide committees. Present at local, regional, and national meetings and conferences and submit peer-reviewed research.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

Direct the Slippery Rock University Transition Achievement Program (TAP), Work-Based Learning Program (WBLE), and the Rock Life Postsecondary Education Program for students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Oversee current grants and contracts and secure sustenance for programs through continued grant applications.
