Janine Coates – Making methods work: moving toward more inclusive research with young people who have special educational needs and disability (SEND)

TA Loeffler & Kim White – Oh, the places we will go: exploring inclusive outdoor physical activity in two voices

Mina Mojtahedi – Paradigm shift from patient to rights-holder: What do rights of persons with disabilities mean in adapted physical activity?

Erja Portegijs – Facilitating outdoor mobility and activity in old age: person-environment interactions

In additional to the scientific programme, there are several socialising opportunities for people to interact through the Online ISAPA 2021 Platform.

  • Tuesday evening the ‘IFAPA Student get together: Past, Present & Future’. The Virtual Student Get Together for Students (Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D.), early career professionals (post docs, new professors, and researchers in the field of APA or APE), and practitioners.
  • On the Wednesday there is the IFAPA General Assembly, where new decisions will be made by the members.
  • Through the IFAPA partnership with Special Olympics, a social event organised by Special Olympics takes place on Thursday 17th June 2021.
  • Friday 18th June is the last day of Online ISAPA and IFAPA hosts the closing ceremony. More details to follow.
