​The Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE) informs that the International Symposium of ASAPE 2024 will take place in Sapporo Hokkaido, Japan. This International Symposium is organized by ASAPE and the Japanese Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (JASAPE).

ASAPE has constituted as the Asian branch of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) and is an international scientific organization of researchers, scholars, practitioners, and students dedicated to the conduct, implementation, and dissemination of research in the practice of adapted physical activity (APA). The main purpose of ASAPE is to promote APA opportunities for all individuals with special needs across countries in Asia. ASAPE organizes the international symposium biennially.

This International Symposium will be returned from online mode to face-to-face, inviting APA scholars, educators, and practitioners from Japan, Asian countries, and regions, as well as from all parts of the world to share their work and exchange new ideas and cutting-edge research results.

The dates of the event are August 2-4, 2024.
