The International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE) is offering the position of Executive Director.
This position contemplates management of the business council, responsibilities for fulfilling the strategic planning of the organization and the working programs, designing, and writing grant applications, developing new areas of engagement, and identifying additional incomes. Additionally, in this role the executive director manages the executive office in Berlin and is responsible for staffing, employed for a full-time position (39.25h/week) for one year and extension of the contract negotiated. The position requires frequent travel worldwide and is fully literate in English and German.
The salary is currently derived from remuneration level 14 for civil servants in Germany and will also depend on the experience level.
This position is required a Master’s degree in business administration or similar relevant fields, excellent knowledge of organizational law in Germany, five years of experience in managing international non-profit organizations, expertise in fundraising, experience in developing strategic plans and working programs, and desire to lead teams.
The successful candidate is expected to start on 1st January 2023.
