APA 2030 – Leveraging Sustainability and Rights to Advance APA Policy, Practice, and Research.

The local organizing committee (LOC) announced the launch of the 1st Call for Educational Activities for the International Symposium in Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA) 2025, taking place at the Munster Technological University in Kerry (Ireland). The symposium theme, “APA 2030: Leveraging Sustainability and Rights to Advance APA Policy, Practice, and Research,” aims to bridge the gap and highlight the synergies between APA, sustainable development and human rights.

The LOC is looking forward to receiving proposals with your expertise and interests in the following categories:

1. Abstracts
Submit your innovative research and ideas to be considered for presentation at the International Symposium on Adaptive Physical Activity (ISAPA).
Deadline: 30 June 2024

  1. Mini Symposia
    Organise focused discussions and collaborative learning through our Mini Symposia. International organisations are invited to host a half-day/full-day themed workshops that foster in-depth exploration of key themes in adaptive physical activity.
    Deadline: 29th February 2024
  2. Practical sessions
    Share your expertise and hands-on skills through practical demonstrations at ISAPA. You can choose your preferred venue option to demonstrate practical applications of adapted physical activity.

Classroom

  1. Professional Development Courses /CPD
    Propose blended learning experiences for ISAPA participants. Offer online modules in advance of ISAPA to build a foundational understanding, and then finalize your learning during the Symposium through in-person sessions.
