This position requires a commitment to scholarly productivity, teaching excellence, and professional service. The successful candidate will be positioned to bridge various research sub-disciplines in the Department.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology with a concentration in physical activity epidemiology, biostatistics or a closely related field; (ii) evidence of a strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals; (iii) competence and experience in teaching of relevant courses; preferably (iv) a Certificate of Education, and (v) significant postdoctoral training. The appointee will (a) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, primarily in the areas of biomechanics, anatomy and sports injuries, and research methods; (b) supervise graduate students; and (c) develop a strong research programme related to physical activity and exercise science.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2019, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later.
