The Brazilian Congress of Pedagogy of Parasports is an event that aims to 1) promote actions related to the practice of physical activity, sports, and leisure for people with disability and its perspective in Brazil; 2) identify the main challenges of the practice of sports for people with disability in Brazil; 3) reflect on the reports, experiences, and scientific production of Parasports in Brazil.
The event will be face-to-face on its first two days and virtual on the following three, to create an environment for exchange among participants and experiences of sports in different environments when face-to-face. As well as allowing the participation of people from different regions of the country and the world in the virtual environment ensuring access to people with different possibilities and ensuring inclusion.
The event will take place on October 2022:
- 14th and 15th, in Santos/SP/Brazil.
- 20th, 21st, and 22nd will happen virtually.
The congress is open to the public and free, considering accessibility including Brazilian Sign Language.
The Federal University of São Paulo will hold the congress with the support of the National Secretariat for Parasports and SESC Santos.
